Lovely place for dinner! Casual but understated elegance! No need to dress super fancy but a dress can go nicely with the place. Service was spot on! Manager heard we were here for a bachelorette and threw in a free dessert ($13)! For four adults we ordered 3 starters, 3 entrees and 3 desserts to share. All the dishes were great! Only complaint was that the Ahi Belly was a bit salty. We’re not massive eaters but were very satisfied! Plus a bottle of French bubbly it set us back about US$350 all up! As expected at a nice restaurant inside a fancy hotel. I recommend!
A true first class experience. The food, drink and service were excellent and I would Highly recommend this to anyone! Great open concept kitchen at one of the newest resorts on Maui. You get what you pay for in quality and service.
Mixed feelings about Ka'Ana Kitchen. Sitting on the screened in porch at sunset for dinner is really peaceful and the staff is great. I like the look of the menu and overall had a good time, I just wasn't super impressed and it's pretty pricey. I liked the service, the sound of the menu, and really enjoyed the octopus salad. The lobster entree, soba noodle appetizer, and fried chicken that we got were just okay. We stayed at the Andaz and had the breakfast included each morning, but if we didn't I would have been pretty outraged at the prices for the quality of food! It's $47pp for the continental breakfast which is really just fruit, egg station, and assorted sides and salads. Perhaps the chef's table is better.
The food is incredible and inventive, the ambiance is something special and the staff went out of their way (on two separate occasions) to accommodate our family's dietary needs, both servers made suggestions of plates and potential substitutions of some of the more popular plates. The manager, chefs and servers are all awesome. Carlie, was an absolute doll.
Don't miss this one. Although it's on the more expensive side of things... It was an incredible dining experience! The bartender was incredible, our server was wonderful and the menu was 97% gluten free as is! Try the fried chicken, it's gluten free, and it's to die for!
