My favorite hotel. Absolutely fabulous. Staff is great. Amenities are great. Must do the spa if you get a chance. Great family hotel. Easy access to the beach. Plenty of pools. Walking distance to local shops and restaurants. Restaurants within resort having everything you could possibly want.
This place is really something to behold. It is grand, indeed. Powerful artwork abounds. The atrium open to the sky with pools open skyward as well is stunning. The covered bar in the middle with classic Hawaiian architecture adds powerful touch as well. Had a really nice lunch. To top it off got to ride a cruiser bicycle waiting for our car from valet!
Grand Wailea is a beautiful resort. Location is pretty convenient, just 20 minutes from OGG. The area is pretty ritzy, with a lot of high end resorts. Grand Wailea itself has beautiful grounds and service is excellent. The room needs a little upkeep though as some paint was falling off the wall. There's direct beach access and many pools for guests to enjoy. The resort is not cheap. $30 daily resort fee plus $30 daily valet fee but you get what you pay for. The spa is the best part. I highly recommend splurging on a spa visit as it truly is top notched.
The Grand Wailea is one of the most classy, beautiful and relaxing resorts I've visited. The staff was consistently friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are clean, comfortable and luxurious. The amenities are beyond reproach... Pools for kids and adults, waterslides, hot tubs, an amazing beachfront with bath water temperature ocean water and giant sea turtles swimming next to you.
My only complaint is that Valet parking is mandatory and costs $30/day.
Beautiful resort and one of the best spas on Maui. If visiting the Spa, you can valet the car and get a stamp when you are finished with your treatments. The poke nachos at the pool bar are so fresh and delicious. The beach in front is a little crowded with resort chairs and umbrellas, but the ocean is usually perfect for swimming.
Overall a great experience and worth the (admittedly expensive) price.
